Tent pitch
Our small private campsite is ideal for families. Located at the heart of Ferry Meadows it is ideally situated to take advantage of all the activities on offer at Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity centre or in the wider park. It is also conveniently located close to the Lakeside Kitchen and Bar so for those who do not want the hassle of packing cooking equipment then a range of delicious treats is available to eat in or take back to your tent.
We are a place for quiet camping and enjoyment of the countryside for all ages. Therefore, we ask camping guests to "leave no trace" and to be especially conscious of noise that could disturb the peace and tranquillity of fellow campers or the amazing wildlife here.
Facilities available:
• Campers will have access to a covered weather shelter and fixed barbeque stand on the campsite, use is shared with other campers. Other fixed barbeque stands are also available throughout Ferry Meadows.
• Campers will have access to the toilet and shower facilities at Nene Outdoors Waters sports and Activity Centre.
• There is access to a cold water tap for drinking and cooking on the camp site.
• Car parking is available in the visitor car park next to Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre. Parking for one car is included within your campsite booking fee.
You can also add these upon arrival.
- Hire a firebowl for just £5 per night. Enjoy your own fire closer to your pitch, perfect for those late night marshmallows. Book online or when you arrive and check in, we also have wood logs and kindling at £6 per load or British made charcoal for £8.50 per 2kg bag
- Mobile phone charging station available. £2 per charge. Available in our reception during opening hours, your phone or small device is securely locked away while it charges.
Please note: the campsite is located next to Gunwade Lake adjacent to the waters edge.
For larger groups there is also the option to hire the whole field yourself. Please note there is a minimum two night stay for the Glade Campsite.
